Hi I'm Andy!

Let me introduce myself...

  • A storyteller not just at heart but in practice, I've been amassing a plethora of experience for creating copy for over 15 years. From crafting content for physical media, to helping host media training seminars for the NHS, the range and scale of duties I've undertaken led me on the path to where you meet me today.

  • As well as working as a freelance copywriter, I have worked in fast-paced B2B marketing roles further rounding out my understanding of the industry. These roles allowed me to hone in on Product Marketing and the skill set needed to communicate core values in a multitude of mediums.

  • Whether you need website copy that converts visitors into customers, engaging social media posts, or captivating email campaigns, I'm here to help you establish and turn your brand's voice into a powerful marketing tool.

  • On a personal note (because when you're hiring me, I also want you to trust me too!) I'm not just a passionate writer, but an avid sports fan. I can often be found watching and writing about the weird and wonderful world of professional wrestling or pounding the pavements on a long run.

I hold both myself and my work to a high standard and put as much effort into my work as I do into a half marathon (and believe me, that's an awful lot...)

Why Polaris?

From a young age, we are introduced to stars. From nursery rhymes, to watching animated movies where the hero wishes upon them to make their dreams come true. As we grow older we begin to understand the sheer scale and vastness of space and the night sky begins to conjure completely different emotions. But for many, the wanderlust remains.

In more practical terms, stars have been used for celestial navigation to guide explorers and sailors home, long before electronic devices became the go to. Polaris, the North Star, has been a vital tool in navigation for millennia, especially in the Northern Hemisphere.

Considered a supergiant, Polaris belongs to a group of stars that are the largest and brightest stars in the night sky. Often many hundred times larger (and much brighter) than our Sun.

There are many legends about Polaris (the Pole Star) in different cultures.

- In Norse mythology the Pole Star is the jewel on the end of the spike that the gods stuck through the universe and around which the sky revolves.

- To the Moguls (Mongolian empire) it was the peg holding the world together.

For you, reading this right now Polaris lends its name to Polariscribe but it's function remains the same. To navigate your company to excellent copy and content. Something to help make your marketing wishes come true and become a gem that can help you shine as brightly as possible.
